TetriNET plays like standard multiplayer Tetris but with a twist: clearing rows will cause special blocks to appear in the player's field. If a line containing a special block is cleared, then that special block is added to the player's inventory. Clearing multiple lines at once increases the number of special blocks received.

At any point, a player may use the special block at the beginning of their inventory on one of the six fields (either their own or an opponent's). The effect depends on the type of special block.

AssaultCube is a fast paced first-person shooter based upon the Cube engine. Although its main focus is online play, a single player mode exists which consists of computer-controlled bots.

AssaultCube is available, free of charge to download for Microsoft Windows, Linux and Mac OS X. While the Cube engine is free software, parts of the accompanying game media, such as the graphics, are released under other, non-free licenses.

The server is up and running at game.chillat.net, so either find it in the server browser or go ahead and do a manual connect.

Urban Terror is a free multiplayer first person shooter developed by FrozenSand, that (thanks to the ioquake3-code) does not require Quake III Arena anymore. It is available for Windows, Linux and Macintosh. The current version is 4.1.

Urban Terror can be described as a Hollywood tactical shooter; somewhat realism based, but the motto is "fun over realism". This results in a very unique, enjoyable and addictive game.

In the late 21st century, the world's civilizations are wiped out by a series of nuclear strikes. While most of the survivors form scavenger bands to survive, one group of people, who refer to themselves as "The Project," seeks to rebuild civilization using pre-war technology.

The game begins with the Commander, the protagonist, sending teams to gather technology in Arizona that would help with reconstruction. While gathering said "artifacts," the Project fends off attacks from an organization called the New Paradigm, which is under the command of an organization called Nexus, which is actually one man responsible for the nuclear war. In the final campaign, the Project launches a full-scale assault on Nexus, destroying it and thus removing all significant, organized barriers to its reconstruction of the Earth.

WarZone 2100 doesn't support dedicated servers yet. Multiplayer has been tested and found working really well between v2.2.x clients, so make sure that you get a recent version! All download links from this site are for 2.2.

The Battle for Wesnoth is a turn-based strategy game with a fantasy theme.
